March 26 – AP Comp Gov

After the exam on Monday, we have spent the week studying globalization. On Tuesday, we covered a brief definition and history of globalization, and students were assigned to read the Globalization Briefing (Globalization_Briefing_Paper (1)) which was officially released by the College Board.

Today, students were assigned an essay (Globalization Application Essay) which asks them to apply their knowledge of globalization to an evaluation of the consequences of the global phenomenon.

Students have time in class today and Friday to finish their essay.

STUDENTS:

Essays will be due by the end of the PERIOD on Friday, both on http://www.turnitin.com and as a hard-copy.

If you finish your essay before class on Friday, make sure to submit, and bring your book to class to begin/continue your reading assignment.
