As you know, you have been assigned an exciting mini-project that allows you the opportunity to track and plot Hamlet’s level of insanity through the play.
Notice the antic disposition ———->
This project is due on Thursday… so don’t procrastinate on this one!
Here’s the document again: Sanity Scale
We are drawing near the end of the play. Your assignment is to read Act 5, scenes 1 and 2 (there are only two scenes in act 5) and complete a log entry for EACH scene. That’s a total of TWO log entries (each log entry – as you know – has three parts) due tomorrow.
Bring the log entries in tomorrow, and be prepared to discuss the content of the final act (and the play as a whole).
And now… to read, or not to read?
There’s no question… 🙂
As you are all well aware – you have to write an essay… booyah!
You have been assigned one of the essay prompts contained in the following file: assessment prompt – ethos, logos, pathos analysis
Here is a copy of the rubric as well: assessment 2 rubric
Here are some resources to help you along in the writing process. for those of you looking for the three-level outline information, it’s on the last slide of this powerpoint:February 8 – American Lit
thesis statements and topic sentences
After successfully wading your way through finals and four acts of Hamlet, it’s time again to submit your Hamelt logs to me.
The following log entries are due tomorrow in class:
Log 9 – of act 3, scene 4
Log 10, 11 and 12 – Logs for Act 4 – detailed in act 4 reading log assignments
Logs 13 and 14 – detailed in act iv presentation
Have fun, and see you in the AM!
